This is an association of different 3D medias, used to present interactively an environment, allowing visiting it.
You can then visit a site as if you were there.
Using your mouse, you can choose the view angle, the zoom factor and move inside the place.
You are then completely immerged in the place you are visiting.

Base of virtual visits consist in taking some high quality pictures. Then these pictures are treated and assembled to build the full 3D volume of the place.
Different kinds of media could be added like sound, video, hyperlinks..., which will be activated by the Net surfer when moving on the specified spots.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) processing gives the opportunity to memorize a large number of light levels in a picture. For example when a picture presents large contrasts, it allows to have more information in the dark or light parts of the scene.
Several pictures are taken using different adjustments and then with specific software, the final image is built.

Different kinds of making a virtual visit can be found:
One system used is to make only one picture with a special camera to capture all the scene.
In this case the definition of the virtual visit is limited to the definition of the picture.

The method used here is an assembling of several pictures. The quality of the final view will then be linked to the number of pictures used.
Panoramic views proposed by Vision Plus PC, in HD, are made with an assembling of 6 to 8 pictures to cover the full 3D panorama. Each picture is composed with 15M pixels.

Optional features could be added to the visit:
- HDR processing
- Adding sound, video, hyperlinks...
- Situation map (for example to visit a villa).

Virtual visits can be added very easily to your website.
The method used splits the visit into a lot of pictures, and then allows a fast upload of the scene.
